Why did Merlin take an interest in Arthur?  If you don't know the answer to that, then you need to expand your horizons and you'll soon discover that life is all about our horizons.

Some of us can't see through the haze before us.  Some are afraid of what lies beyond and not the least bit adventurous.  Would any of us have heard about Bilbo if he hadn't opened his door to Gandalf (and the dwarves)?
